Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal, announced that talks were ongoing on the candidates for the Lok Sabha elections and encouraged the people of the state to ensure that the party wins every seat.

Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party, stated on Saturday that the party will name candidates for each of Punjab’s 13 Lok Sabha seats over the next two to four days.

Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal, announced that talks were ongoing on the candidates for the Lok Sabha elections and encouraged the people of the state to ensure that the party wins every seat.

After essentially establishing the 165 “Aam Aadmi Clinics” that will be established around Punjab, Kejriwal told reporters in Jalandhar, “The announcement will be made in the next two to four days.”

By securing victory for the party in all 13 seats, you will fortify Bhagwant Mann’s position. Mann is the only one opposing the Centre. Mann is the only one opposing the governor and the BJP, declared Kejriwal, who was escorted by the chief minister of Punjab.

Kejriwal claimed that Punjab was being singled out by the BJP-led Central government, and he expressed his displeasure over the rejection of Punjab’s Republic Day parade tableau. He remarked, “It’s like insulting the Punjabi people.”

The AAP leader claimed that last year, when the governor forbade it, the Punjab administration was forced to petition the Supreme Court in order to call a budget session of the parliament.

The chief minister of Delhi also attacked the central government for allegedly depriving Punjab of funding valued at Rs 8,000 crore.

According to Kejriwal, additional roads, hospitals, and schools would have been built if the Centre had released the cash.

“They will become his [Mann’s] ’13 hands’, and they will fight for you in Delhi to bring your money,” he claimed, if you give the AAP 13 seats in the Lok Sabha elections.

The national convenor of the AAP stated, “We have done a lot of work which had not been seen by the people of Punjab in the last 75 years.”

“I’m not claiming that every issue has an answer. Time will be needed for it. However, we need your help. We require the same kind of favouritism in the Lok Sabha elections, just as you granted 92 out of 117 seats in the Punjab assembly elections,” he declared.

In response to a query on a possible alliance between the BJP and Shiromani Akali Dal, the chief minister of Punjab, Mann, stated that alliances are never broken.

Did you believe that they were forming a new alliance? In reality, the alliance was never severed. However, zero plus zero equals zero,” he remarked.

Mann took aim at the Akali Dal and questioned whether the party could still be seen in the rural after forging an alliance with the BJP, given that the farmers’ issue remains unresolved.

Due to the now-repealed farm restrictions, the SAD left the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance in 2020.
Kejriwal established 165 “Aam Aadmi Clinics” in Punjab earlier in the day, bringing the total number of these clinics to 829 in the state.
