In a recent commercial for a men’s health company, Johnny Sins and Ranveer Singh portray brothers in a parody of an Indian daily soap opera.

Put the Super Bowl ads away. In a recent men’s health brand commercial, Ranveer Singh is shown in a very desi and corny manner advocating for sexual wellness. His partner in this endeavor is none other than well-known adult film star Johnny Sins.

What is contained in the advertisement?
The commercial, which features a collective family argument, is a parody of a regular Indian daily soap opera. Every member of the cast, including Johnny Sins and Ranveer, is dressed traditionally. The Bollywood star is seen with long hair and a maroon kurta, while Johnny is dressed in a blue kurta and golden jacket.

Ranveer questions his younger brother Johnny’s wife’s departure from their home at the beginning of the advertisement. Following that, there is a lot of tension between the family members. Later, after taking a pill that improves men’s sexual health, Johnny’s wife makes the decision to remain behind.

Responses to the advertisement
The crossover between Johnny and Ranveer shocked viewers of X. “Bro, what in the world is Johnny Sins doing in this Indian commercial with Ranveer Singh? (crying emojis),” a person commented. “Johny Sins And Ranveer Singh Collab (laughing with tears emojis)” was shared by someone else. “Everyone was ready for the release of the #Deadpool3 teaser… Johnny SINS in an Indian commercial with Ranveer Singh emerged from the syllabus (shocked emoji),” commented a third user, drawing parallels between the Ranveer-Johnny relationship and Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s portrayal of Wolverine in the upcoming Hollywood blockbuster Deadpool 3.

Ranveer received praise from many for encouraging men’s sexual wellness. “Hahahahahaha… this is a brilliant way to use a celebrity in an ad,” someone said on X. Not only does it make humorous use of the much-maligned Indian TV series cliche, but it also makes the product category considerably more approachable to a larger audience than it is when it is spoken in whispers. Check out Ranveer Singh and Johnny Sins (‘Google’ them!). Stand-up comedian Tanmay Bhatt commented on Ranveer’s Instagram image, saying, “So good to see one of my all time favorite sexual icons…and also Johny Sins.”
